Fifty years since we walked the halls at South. We're gathering for one night at the Redondo Beach Hotel to catch up, tell the old stories, and see who we've all become. Whether it's been five years or fifty since you've seen the old crew — you belong in the room. And if a few night owls want to keep it going afterward — we won't argue.

We've reserved a block of 10 rooms at the Redondo Beach Hotel for our class at a group rate of $249/night. The 10 rooms are first come, first served, so book early to be sure you get one. To reserve, call the hotel directly at 424-275-9304, ask for Michelle Tabares, and mention the South High Class of 1976 reunion block — that's how you get the discounted rate and how our class gets credit for the rooms. Need a room beyond the 10 we've reserved? Email Southhigh76@yahoo.com and the committee will ask the hotel to release more.
Totally optional: the Spartan Fund goes toward covering the real costs of the night, so we can keep ticket prices reasonable and make sure everyone can attend. With a lot of early-bird tickets, ticket sales alone won't cover everything — so anything extra helps us cover those costs (and yes, host the teachers who meant so much to us). Just add "Spartan Fund" in your payment memo. Every bit helps.
We're building a slideshow for the night, and we want them all — not just the '70s, but every decade since. Senior portraits, old beach days, weddings, kids, reunions, last summer's barbecue — the whole fifty years. Any classmate can send photos.
